From Here to Eternity with Seth Shostak
The big bang, dark matter, and parallel universes are just a few of the things science is still trying to explain. Despite these discoveries, we still wonder if they are the results of a precise chain of events or parts of an intelligent plan. Seth Shostak, chief astronomer with SETI, discusses some of the biggest questions facing humanity including our mysterious origin and what our collective destiny might be in this interview with George Noory.
Seth Shostak developed an interest in extraterrestrial life at the tender age of ten, when he first picked up a book about the solar system. Now, he is the Senior Astronomer for SETI and is responsible for much of the outreach activities of the Institute. To do this, he edits the newsletter, oversees the Web site, gives talks and writes magazine articles and books about SETI.
