This short, but deep, hip opening class with Matt Giordano is primarily geared toward men to help gain flexibility, mobility and strength. Matt uses techniques and movements to help build strength in the areas that are weak, but also gain a deeper range of motion that will increase flexibility in the hips and create ease in the low back.

Contraindications: hamstring injury

Props: 2 blocks, blanket

Great class. I especially appreciated that your verbal instructions were so clear that I rarely needed to check visually to identify the new position. In other videos, when I listen to the instructions, I look up and notice I am doing something entirely different than what instructor is doing--which, of course is kind of funny.
