@AnastasiaW Well - let's ask David Williams directly, and hear what he has to say! I wrote to him - here is his reply: "Greetings from Crete. Nice to hear from you. The "gym article" is totally wrong. I have never taught in a gym in LA. Bryan told me he thought of "power yoga" and then found out that Beryl and Baron Baptiste were already using the name. I believe Bryan said they agreed to peacefully coexist and there was never a law suit.

heard slightly different story, that Norman Allen and David Williams taught yoga in the gym in LA and it was not popular while all the other classes with the names like Knockout boxing, body Pump and Killer X training were packed. nobody knew what yoga was, so the guys came up with name power yoga, which attracted tones of people.
