In this chest, shoulder and hip opening Vinyasa class with Rina Jakubowicz, you will feel what it takes to truly open up safely. Creating flexibility and range of motion in the body alleviates pain and stress in the body and in the mind. Rina repeats the affirmation, “I Am Open!” during this practice to remind you that closing up to the world hurts yourself and others. The time is now to stretch your body, stretch your mind, stretch your intellect and stretch that soul!

Hello Rina ,
I will be honest there are yoga that I adore doing with you, and sometimes like this one I do not feel good. if I am new to yoga I would not know how to make modifications or to slow down, this is too fast , at the end I feel not at all relaxed at should be;, and also you are forgeting both sides to do that is important ; Finaly turning to the left side also, many teachers i do not understand normaly always is better to turn to the right side for the heart reason to be relawed. Sorry but this should be more slow it was chaotic. Namaste.

Dearest yogi, It is meant to be for a more moderate student who knows the yoga names in order to be able to flow a bit more. Take your time and feel free to go at your own pace. I also like to go slower but this was the kind of class that was asked of me to do so therefore I complied. :) All good though. We try and we keep going. Thank God for progress and understanding. Love always, Rina P.S. The level should have said level 2 and above. Our apologies for the confusion.

Good short practice with a nice flow and some pretty interesting opening poses. When the videos are a shorter version obviously the poses are not going to be held as long. I was fine with pace. Thank you.

Rina Jakubowicz, posted on September 7, 2016

It is meant to be more flowy so I'm glad you could find your pace. Have a beautiful day and Namaste' :)
Love
Rina

Great class. Just what I needed -- especially for tight hips!

Rina Jakubowicz, posted on September 7, 2016

Keep those hips opening :) hehe! Have a happy day!

It was a feel good class, just wish (like another student) the poses were held longer. Felt a little rushed... Why not just add 10 - 15mins to the practice.. Anyway, thank you for a lovely start to the day.

Rina Jakubowicz, posted on September 7, 2016

It's meant to be a more flowy class for students who know the yoga names and can follow along to a certain pace. I understand how people have different paces. This was the kind of class Gaiam asked me to do so therefore I complied. :) In the future I will be happy to slow it down. I personally like it slower too.

But this was still a fantastic way to start my day! Thank you!

I wish the poses were held a little longer..?

Rina Jakubowicz, posted on February 11, 2016

Hey @wimwamwoom you can always just pause the video and take as long as you need! Perks of videos at home! :) love always, Rina

strauss5marija, posted on September 7, 2016

Hello RIna,
well I am not in the mood to stop the videos every 5 or less minutes to hold the pose longer, this is not the way you do yoga with videos. What is this answer? Sure I stop like everybody if I need to repeat or to add something , but videos is not mad that we need to stop very ofthen THEN IT IS BECOMING VERY DISTURBING NOT AT ALL YOGA NIDRA FEELING AT THE END. Thank you for your apparently not understadning. What is this kind of answer that you give to us???Sthiram sukham, Namaste.

Rina Jakubowicz, posted on September 7, 2016

Dearest Strauss,
The class should have been put as the level 2 and above not beginners. I'm not in control of numbering the classes. You might want to ask Gaiam about it if you feel so passionate about it. I'm sure there are other classes that will best suite you. I, personally, enjoy taking my time in classes too. So I do understand plus I also understand that there's not much to do anymore with the video that's posted and up for people to view so I help find solutions with what there is, instead of what there isn't. :) I'm a solution-finder. Hence, I appreciate your feedback and will consider it for future videos.
Blessings and love always,
Rina

I'd just like to say, as I've heard other instructors leave this comment to others before, but because we practice at home, we don't necessarily have the remote next to us to pause and stop our instruction, it is an option, but many want to continue the flow like in class, so maybe taking suggestions to heart instead of suggesting we keep a remote near is something to consider, also, as there is nothing harder than to be in a pose and stumble for a remote in order to change or hold poses longer! :)

Rina Jakubowicz, posted on September 7, 2016

Dear Veda,
I understand entirely. Thank you for your feedback and letting me know about the lack of the remote control being available. Blessings and love, Rina

What a great practice on this Thanksgiving Day Morning. An excellent reminder to stay loving and kind in the midst of what seems like a chaotic day!! Loved the shoulder and hip opening so much too!

Hey Sorry for the delay in responding! @peacewarriorfitness hope your hips and shoulders are still open! :) love, rina

Dear RIna,
I am at the beginning of my second trimester (no issues so far). Can I follow this video? Many thanks!

Rina Jakubowicz, posted on October 27, 2015

Dearest @syssi, Congrats on your family edition. You will need to be gentle and make sure that you don't over arch too much in the poses. But it would be great to get your chest and shoulders to start stretching a bit since you'll be adding some pressure to the front of your body. :) Go at your own pace and listen to your body and your insight. You got this! :) Love always, Rina P.S. Make sure your doctor gives you clearance too.

DO you lady RIna understand that stoping the videos very ofthen is not at all fine ? and it is disturbing? YOU CANT MAKE YOURSELF BEEING PRESENT IN THIS MOMENT AND BREATHING IF YOUR ANWSER IS THIS ..... put a pause???? Really healthy reason is neccesairy also this is not at all the way to answer . This practise is not at all well beeing. It is distubing fast and dangereous to be hurt if people do not respect their limits. Namaste. I am really sorry I need to reply but it is with a good reason.
