Amy, is there any instruction for those of us with extremely tight hamstrings? I'm 'advanced' in terms of knowledge and practice level, but my body doesn't know it yet! So...I can't walk my legs close enough to allow my buttocks to move over my shoulders; I always need an assist in class. Is it impossible to try and accomplish this in self/home practice?

Amy provides clear, step-by-step instruction to the various poses she presents. I found the demonstration of common mistakes made very useful to ensure that I avoid making them. The only downfall was that I did find it hard to make sure I was "melting my heart", as Amy says. However, one disadvantage of following any video and not being in class is that you don't have that teacher there to correct you. Overall, I would enjoy using this video to better my inversions.

Love it, as time to move forward in my personal practice I find the directions clear, slow, and open to explain step by step. I can do that:)

Amazingly clear and lucid instruction on how to achieve perfect inversions in yoga. Amy Ippoliti is a delightful teacher who breaks down each inversion into the individual moves that combine to make a perfect whole, and up you go. Working with Jeannie Manchester, she also demonstrates the all too familiar mistakes we make that hold us back, and teaches how to correct them. This was both enjoyable and very helpful, and recommend it, although probably not for a very new beginner. Would love to see you expand your offerings from Amy beyond the three that are currently available.
