I enjoyed this class, but I think that calling it a kundalini yoga class is misleading, especially for people who think they are doing "kundalini" for the first time. I've done kundalini yoga with quite a few different instructors and none of them were like this. Calling something like kundalini-inspired aerobics would be more accurate in my view.

Great video but cuts off suddenly at the end

Hi Gloria:
Thank you for this invigorating class. Now I understand as why Kundalini is an advanced yoga practice. I did this class first thing in the morning, I don't think I need coffee after the practice.

RubyDiamond, posted on February 21, 2014

Fantastic! Absolutely liberating!!! Thanks Gloria. Namaste ;-)

Thank you, Gloria. This practice has been in my "favorites" for some time, as it is an energizing beginning to the day when time is short. I do have a question....sometimes doing the rapid twists trigger a pain in my lower back later in the day. As I don't typically have lower back pain, and it doesn't happen during actual practice, it's difficult for me to decide if I should do this motion in a modified way. Today I bent knees more and changed the movement to resemble my once upon a time tai chi practice. Thoughts?

Definitely energizing. Great morning practice. Thank you!

I didn't like this video it felt I was doing aerobic rather than yoga

that was my first kundalini practice and I liked it a lot! Quite different to my usual vinyasa classes though.

lmpowers_2, posted on June 15, 2013

This was my first time experiencing kundalini as well. Im a habitual vinyasa practicer, but the sun and heat outside my window this morning inspired me to build heat and light within. thank you!

niculture, posted on June 15, 2013

This was my first time to try this type of practice. For some reason my body and mind told me to do it... and I can see why... it was great for releasing and strength. thank you!

KarenWiseman, posted on June 14, 2013

No time for practice before thekids came home today. This class was active enough that my three year old and 10 month old got in on the action and we all had a good laugh.

Love this video! I am new to Kundalini yoga. One suggested modification for those with rotator cuff impingement issues or predisposition -- raise hands with palms together instead of backs of hands together as the latter is likely to impinge the rotator cuff tendons and may lead to fraying/tearing/rupture.

This was the perfect practice for me this morning... Thank you, Gloria! I feel stronger and more free. I feel invigorated and relaxed. Blessings! :)

I've only done kundalini yoga once years ago and I thought this was great! Very different from what I'm used to. Loved the vigorous nature of it - great way to warm my body before I did another video.

LOVED this class. Exactly what I needed. It helped me to get out of my mind and let my body release some pent-up stress! Great way to start the day.

I have had a only a few kundalini yoga classes, and although I find it to be a bit more energy-intensive than my regular practice, this class is amazing! I have been stressed for days and after looking at your description and trying the practice, I found the stress melting in a mere thirty minutes! thank you so much!

My first time with this style of yoga. Too aerobic and non yogic for me. I appreciate the instruction.

futuraba, posted on August 10, 2011

I really really love it! I thought I was going to be totally exhausted after this practice. But it turned out that I felt so much more energetic! Highly recommended!

ohsusanna, posted on August 4, 2011

Maybe I wasn't in the mood for this. Kundalini is new to me. Now that I know what to expect, I may check it out in the future.

tarasyoga, posted on July 31, 2011

Great start to the day :-) I can't believe my mind ties to tell me my body wants to stay in bed!

DreamOcean, posted on July 31, 2011

I love this practice when I crave Kundalini but don't have a full hour... this morning I woke up exhausted and this jolted me positively into my day. I'm always amazed by the interesting routines Gloria pulls together abd thankful to MYO for incorporating Kundalini onto this site. I hope I get to take a live class from Gloria one day!

naturalyogini, posted on July 28, 2011

Loved, loved this class and ALL of your kundalini yoga classes . Please, pls make more. Now that MYO has perfected filming live classes, pls make a live class with music!!!!

ston0242_2, posted on June 26, 2011

I can definitely see the benefits of this class but it wasn't for me. It had a lot jumping jacks and more traditional aerobic moves than what I was looking for in a yoga class. Again, I see the merits but just not my style.

yoganesha, posted on June 25, 2011

I really enjoyed the detoxyfing and cleansing aspects of this routine. It's definately one of my favorites. The only thing that hurt my knees was the plank kicks..

deefrenchie131, posted on May 21, 2011

I am not a fan of this class, all of the jumping and flailing limps is exactly what I'm trying to avoid when doing yoga. If I wanted to jump around I'd go on a run or to a step class.

elba, posted on May 18, 2011

Wonderful, what a workout! Thank you, got my blood flowing real good. This is going to be one of my favorites, It felt like it will also get me in shape for my wedding, I can already feel my arms getting toned.

LizaP, posted on May 18, 2011

I stopped this after 5 minutes I am afradi - not one for me as no time to make sure you're doing it properly and I was worried I would hurt myself.
