Laughter has been reveled and reviled throughout all of history. Perhaps, now, we are just beginning to really understand it. Albert Nerenberg drops in on cutting edge neuroscientists, cardiologists, Christian holy laughter groups and practitioners of Laughter Yoga in search of origin and meaning of laughter.

After a family tragedy, filmmaker Albert Nerenberg realized he needed to lighten up and decided to launch a quest to find a cure for seriousness. In his quest to rediscover his own laugh, Nerenberg has produced a film that will undoubtedly play a major role in a global laughter trend. It may be coming just at a crucial time when the world needs a good laugh.

Refreshing and well done. So many people actually seem to fear their own laughter.

Laughter should be taught in schools and happily nurtured in the workplace.

What a wonderful world it would be.

What an uplifting show. I've been thinking about joy and recently started listing ways to have fun and play again like we did as children. Adults need to re-learn these precious gifts that are innate, yet suppressed by lifestyle and competition. This was very timely. Thank you!

I knew laughter was important, but now we should really use it to help each other out of the darkness of stress. We all need to continuously nurture our laugh with each other in every way we can. Aloha.

In this day we are living in where there is so much war, and guns are the topic of everyday conversations, this idea of learning how to laugh needs to be part of the school system. Free community classes on laughing should be offered as well.
