Let's Talk about Death with Gail Rubin

In this interview with George Noory, Gail Rubin, a certified Thanatologist, talks about what you need to know before you go. A common superstition, even into the 21st century, is to not discuss death and dying lest you bring about the end of a loved one or yourself. This leaves many people woefully unprepared for the complexities of the road that lies before them when death touches their family. Fortunately, there are individuals who are adept in helping people to plan a good goodbye and easing the burdens of their passing.

Gail Rubin became the Doyenne of Death® in 2011, after the publication of her award-winning book, A Good Goodbye. She is certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement which is a fancy name for a death educator. Rubin has more than 30 years of experience creating many memorable life cycle events and helping to get end-of-life and funeral planning conversations started with a light touch for such a serious subject
