In a Lost Property Office a kind old man is working behind the desk. Every day an old lady comes into this office looking for something she has lost. She presents the man with a photograph of the item. He takes her through the corridor of doors into rooms that are filled with Lost Property.

My grandmother died in her 70's of alzheimer's which started in her 40's. I saw her entire world slip away much like the man in this movie. At the end of her life I would visit her for hours waiting for that one moment when I could see in her eyes a glimmer of recognition. It was much like that moment when they danced. What a heart felt moment.

Loved the animation. A poignant story about dementia and getting older.
I can see why young people think it's a waste of time. They don't realize this is what life is like for the elderly. Having your memories eaten away in your brain and you only have snapshots of remembrances, but you can never find the thing because you can't go back...

I guess she was looking for her husband.
He forgot who she was...
So he held onto things trying to remember "what's important".

"Bedfordshire Care Home"
He was in an old-folks home.

The music was classical, hard yet beautiful. I liked the characters and the world that surrounded them.
It was interesting how the story was told thorough their actions rather there words.

What did we just watch? A materialistic old woman clinging to past, relatively insignificant possessions and a desperate old man who takes advantage of that, placing himself in her forgotten memories to address his own loneliness? Moral: better to find happiness being used by someone than being possessionless? Glad it was only six minutes.

I think you have to have a heart to understand.
