Too quick, too hard, not enough explanation, not enough time in postures and no adjutsments offered - all round disappointing :(

I loved this yoga workout from the first time I tried it. The poses feel great and really strengthen your muscles. Helps with my posture, too.

I wouldn't recommend this video for true beginners - there doesn't seem to be much explanation of the poses. The instructor is pleasant to listen to though.

Here's the thing....I've had the VHS tape for YEARS! I've worn it out! Deason's practice is quick and effective. She starts out slow and ramps up juuuuust enough to get your heart going and your breath moving and sweat to break on your skin. It definitely defines your lower half but the sequencing includes a lot of down dog and upward dog so those arms are going to get definition too. Her cues are VERY VERY specific so you are never trying to keep up. Your practice stays steady and focussed. I have yet to find a practice on here that comes close to this one in it's length and consistency AND the ease in making more basic OR advanced. Do this every day or every other day? You will see results.
