Sarah, all your classes are fabulous! So very relaxing and sweetly reassuring. I hope you will do more Yin and guided meditation classes I really enjoy them, as does my 9 yr. old daughter.

while playing this video and lying down in restorative poses, I noticed the full moon had appeared right behind the window..what a special moment!

You need lots of props for this video, I wish I'd known that in advance instead of having to pause and run around collecting things. This was just not the class for me, I couldn't get comfortable even with the bolsters and pillows. I will definitely try Sarah's other classes though as I like her soothing and relaxing voice.

I was just wondering if this type of practice might be helpful for dealing with RLS (restless leg syndrome).

@ Mamads :) As always with restorative yoga... ok, any kind of yoga... and life too... lol... LISTEN TO YOUR BODY and adjust to fit YOU. That's the BEAUTY of restorative. What works for one body may not work for another, so get lots of props and PLAY... find the props that allow your body to MELT, totally supported.

One suggestion for the beginning pose is to create the props so that rather than being at an angle, the props allow you to lie flat (ie more underneath your belly). You could also take the zafu shown here and place it on TOP of the bolster instead of underneath as the beans are very maliable for your head. Whatever works for you.

Play, relax, breath, experience, and do what it takes for your body to remember how to RELAX into being.

Thank you. It was just what I needed today; very relaxing.

The beginning pose with her neck at that angle would be really bad on my arthritic neck. Should her head actually be up that high or on a straight line with her spinal column?

This is the umpteenth million time I've done this practice--it's perfect in every way. Thank you so much for this gift.
