I'm not big on Christmas anymore due to years of consumerism and materialism taking its tole, but this film regardless how delusional others may find it is quite inspirational. The Spirit of Love from the selfless acts of a dying mom that in turn are carried on thru her daughter to help the dad is very heart centered. Parents lie to their kids about all kinds of things. Santa, the Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy, the list goes on...yes, dad was horribly grief stricken and left to raise 3 kids and as a token of love from his wife passed on, the daughter is there to help him to feel that love one more time. This is what family is all about...not giving up on one another and taking care even if it's not what others would have done. The imagination is the first thing that children are praised for, and it is also the first thing that is taken from them as soon as they enter into the school systems. So an adult was able to hold on to their imagination what. It is a short film ..don't like it, keep scrolling and move on. There is tons of other stuff to see here on GaiamTV...

A dad, too grief-stricken and immature to be truthful to his children is bailed out (of his deluded fantasy) by his teenage daughter. I do not find this movie commendable in any way--it points to emotional incest and emotional negligence while playing the tearjerker card.

A joy, although a tearful one!
