In Organic We Trust (2012)

Available worldwide

In America, 73% of us eat some organic food. Yet most people don’t have a clue what it means. “In Organic We Trust” is an eye-opening documentary that reveals the true meaning of “organic.”

When corporations went into the business and “organic” became a brand, the philosophy and the label grew apart. But there’s hope for organic and for us! Director Kip Pastor looks beyond the label and unearths inspiring solutions for our health and environmental problems. Individual citizens and communities are taking matters into their own hands, and change is coming from the soil up.

Thank you for making this documentary. It was certainly educational and inspiring to learn of all of the people who thru their projects are taking action at the grassroots level to educate us and provide healthier food to local communities. I appreciate all of the expense and effort Kip went to in producing this documentary. It is a gift. Thanks

Everything I have learned about this subject has checked out in this documentary; except for the issue on the dirty dozen. From what I know, and have seen on a video by Andrew Perlot, it has been shown that there is no correlation towards the harmfulness of the residues on the dirty dozen meaning that anything higher on the list of MORE pesticides does not correlate the their toxicity in humans. If you want more information check out his youtube channel Andrew Perlot. Otherwise I am more inspired to get out there and help create more real good food!
