I've tried other Kundalini videos before and just didn't care for it. Now that I'm recovering from tendonitis in my wrist, I'm looking for something besides my usual vinyasa practice, something that does not put a lot of weight on my wrist. I love this! Guru Jagat has the perfect mix of respect for the practice and respect for the novice practitioner. She makes it clear that even if I find the workout a challenge, I will grow into the practice over time.

Does Guru Jagat recommend repeating each lesson a certain number of times before moving on to the next one? Or do I need to learn that for myself? :)

Where I live you can't find this kind of yoga!!! I feel amazing can't wait to practice this class again thank you

Although gaia is already offering lots of great KY classes you might like to check with the Yoga Alliance for Kundalini Yoga in your area. Where do you live?
I know there is tons of Kundalini Yoga classes here in Canada, ON. Over the years KY also became my favourite. :-)
Good luck! Namaste!

I've never done this before and I'll get rid of the negative first: the setup looked religious and her flowing gown and lack of participation accentuated that. Also didn't want to chant words in a language I didn't understand. Sorry if that offends anyone, but that was my experience. HOWEVER, the teacher was excellent. She speaks in a soft yet very clear voice and takes the mystery out of much of the practice. The breathing, after a while, was extremely effective. (The sit-ups, on the other hand... seriously??? 108?) I will keep trying this (without the chanted words) because Kundalini Yoga seems to address the basics of health: the nervous system, hormones, and breathing. Appreciated the class very much.

I've tried Kundalini once before but didn't understand it. I thought I'd give this a go as I'm looking for better ways to focus and meditate. I struggle with the chanting because I don't know what I'm saying but that will come with time! I'll be giving this video a go again in the near future. Thanks.
