Journeys to the Ends of the Earth: The People of the Flame (2001)
Deep in the deserts of ancient Persia, a great king had a vision with a message that still impacts the lives of millions of people today. His visions came from a sacred fire, a gift from his god. This flame has burned for over 2,500 years, tended by Magis whose are determined to keep the flame, eternally.
David Adams sets off on a quest into the heart of the Islamic world seeking the mysteries of this sacred flame. It is a journey that will take him from the modern city of Tehren and back in time over a thousand years. He follows the trail that modern Zoroastrian pilgrims follow to seek the place where time and history began.
