Today it is my birthday and could not think about any other better present for myself than a yoga class from you. Thank you for the present! it was great!

This is an excellent practice for any level, but as it is beginner I give it 5 stars for incorporating practice, breath and pace into one nice session. While I've been practicing yoga for many years, I found some great cues that made me focus and create better alignment.

I love all your yoga practices, you just seem to have a way that always makes me feel great after, thankyou x

I always feel like a million bucks after your practices. Thanks for yet another amazing class.

Forgotten this practice..
Got fooled by the title again, it is as stated, a beginners practice, rather slow, steady and lovely stregth building. All that my body thrives by!
Added today the pigeon pose for additional hip stretch, supported shoulderstand and plowpose as they keep my thyroid in better shape.
Thank you David, namasté

Loved this gentle practice David. Great for my pregnant body right now. I really liked what you said at the beginning and especially the end. So true. I'll remind my students of this in class this evening. Thank you!

Wonderful. The pace was ideal for focusing on the pose and your words helped me position my body in a much better way than in a fast flow. No particularly funky poses but I found it challenging and it was a great reminder of why is such a powerful and transformative experience and you don't need to bend your back in crazy ways or stick your leg behind your head to get that

This video is the perfect foundation for all of your classes. I like to do it on a morning when I don't have enough time for one of the longer classes, or if I'm feeling like I need to go back to basics. It's really good. Namaste

Wonderful practice, David! The meditative exercise at the end is priceless. When I meditate, I have difficulty focusing, but having to count each exhale worked like magic! ¡Mil gracias!

@Ben429Thank you Ben! I'm currently working on a meditation CD with my friend Meg Hutchinson which should be available in a few months. I can definitely do a meditation video as well. Keep you eye out for it and thanks for the suggestion!

Ben429, posted on August 11, 2013

Another great video. I get a lot out of your meditative exercises, and more often than not I wish there was more of it. Have you ever thought about doing a video that was just meditation?

@riclaz I'm no expert, but I'd definitely switch it up but keep coming back to this one :) If you enjoy power yoga, you may also like the Ashtanga style.

@riclaz My pleasure Ric! In this practice, all breathing is done through the nose.

riclaz, posted on December 5, 2012

@davidmagone Thanks David, when breathing should it be in through nose and out through mouth or nose?

davidmagone, posted on December 4, 2012

@carolinedoesyogathanks so much for spreading the word Caroline!

davidmagone, posted on December 4, 2012

@riclaz Hi Ric! Typically, you need to repeat workouts of similar type two to three times per week for best effect. You can accomplish that by practicing this video multiple times, or you can find another that challenges you in a similar way and alternate between the two for variety.

Have fun!

carolinedoesyoga, posted on December 3, 2012

Here's the site and the video I told you about. This is one of my fav teachers. This class is a good beginner class. Enjoy!! You will love how you feel after you yoga!

riclaz, posted on December 2, 2012

Really enjoyed this. Being somewhat new to Yoga I am wondering how often I should be doing this practice and is it important to switch it up with other practices or can I just keep doing this one?
