A Question of Balance

Available worldwide

Yoga is famous for building physical flexibility - this class with Bernie Clark will build mental flexibility. We will practice remaining centered while facing challenges. There will many opportunities to practice standing balances but there will be balancing challenges while kneeling, sitting and even while lying down. Everyone can try these poses and enjoy the feeling of failing (or falling) safely and calmly.

Fantastic class! Some really great challenges in there, and plenty of opportunities to improve and goals to strive for in the future. Video quality isn't great, but can be forgiven. Definitely will do this one again!

Lovely class as always.
I would have preferred it without the music in the background.
Thank you

Challenging and fun at the same time! It is good to explore boundaries and to fall and challenge myself. Keeps me humble and striving for more! Your classes always just breeze by! The quickest 72 minutes I have ever spent! Thank you for reminding me, the joy of yoga and that it is supposed to be fun! All apart of being human.

I think I drew blood on this one from all of the falling...tough class.

It is a bit of a facetious remark, but for most people (who are right-handed) their right leg is the stronger leg so starting by lifting the left leg up is generally easier: this doesn't apply for everyone however. Also, the second side is often easier regardless of which side you start on because, you already have done it once so you know what to do now and are more inspired!

Bernie, why is it that you say the left side is easier? It is easier... But why is that?

Great challenging and fun practice!

What a great practice. Challenging, playful and profound. I appreciate the skillful way Bernie builds in different levels of challenge. Felt down at the start of the practice and have come away feeling lighter and more balanced. Thank you!

good to hear Bernie's voice and comedic commentary, lightening and enlightening, easing the practice while strengthening and challenging .. if that makes any sense ... until the next time ... shanti shanti shant

I have been wanting a program to help me focus on my balance, and - voila! - here it is. Thanks!

I agree about the filming being not great. It was very difficult to see some of the poses. An excellent class otherwise though!

Bernie, you are funny indeed. I enjoyed this class. Feedback: it would have been nice to have the camera focus on you when you first showed the poses. Love the silliness!

Ah, Bernie! You're so funny!

Loved this one, especially Bernie's emphasis on smiling throughout the practice, it made holding long poses MUCH easier! (Not easy, but easier :)

I had a hard time following this class for the first time. It was sometimes hard to see Bernie and couldnot tell from behind what the students were doing. I liked the class but was a bit confused some of it. I think more of the camera should be on the teacher.

I teach an all levels yoga class in Pa and it is similar to this class but I learned a few things from this class to teach my students! I really enjoyed it and will use some of these poses in my class! Thanks !
