Rhineland Mystics Part 1: Hildegard von Bingen with Matthew Fox

In this interview with Regina Meredith, Matthew Fox unveils the light that Hildegard von Bingen brought to the world through her visions and teachings. He explains that Germany, in the middle ages, was prime for spiritual growth and advancements. While many men went off to wage war in the Crusades, one woman became a beacon of light which emanated from a modest monastary tucked away in the Rhineland. Hildegard von Bingen brought forward the light of her divine visions and heralded a new movement of Christian mysticism that persisted for centuries.
