India is a great land full of mysteries and a myriad of religious practices that span the course of millennia. Marcel Poulin undertakes the journey of a lifetime as he travels through India, seeking answers to the great questions of his life. He is in need of discovering who he really is and what his life is all about. To find these answers, he seeks to learn the spiritual path of Sadhana, a sacred ascetic path.

He travels from sacred site to sacred site, such as the Kumbha Mela and the Valley of the Gods, taking in the beauty of the landscape. Along the way he learns from Swamis and Gurus, eventually becoming an apprentice Sadhu. What he discovers on his quest will change his life, and the lives of many others. Join him and gain insight into India’s legacy and the living spirit of Hinduism.

Offers no ultimate truth, but portrays one man's journey. He asks a big question, and although does not find "The Answer," he travels a road of self-discovery, making the acquaintance of gurus and sadhus who encourage him to find his own path.

Well portrayed, some beautiful footage from pilgrimage journeys and holy places and festivals in India. Simple, and unpretentious, humble in its portrayal of one person's quest and adventure to challenge himself for more.

Did not learn anything from this. Poor guy went searching for truth and got told its up to him. All that way for nothing. All that way for something he could have done in his own bedroom.

An interesting portrayal of someone from my part of the world that did help me understand the cultural impact of going to India on a spiritual pilgrimage. I wasn't crazy about the soundtrack but everything else was enlightening. I also liked the clarity of the last teacher. Namaste

Hello, I've been trying to watch GaiamTV, again, and having trouble, again. I already have Silverlight installed and updated. Please help!

I bought it seemed more like a travelogue than a spiritual documentary. I liked the last Guru portrayed.
