Then, Dr Rich Steiner, professor at the University of Alaska and member of the IUCN shares his work with Lebanon to clean up the oil spill there. Wendy Church, Executive Director of Facing the Future, helps teachers incorporate global sustainability into the classroom. Also in this episode the idea of borrowing the planet from our children, Nanosolar and their work to decrease the cost of solar panels, California’s decision on diesel fuel and the dangers of watching television. Musical focus was on the life of James Taylor.
