Shine Open Your Front Lines

The front of the body can often hold physical and emotional congestion. This intermediate hatha yoga practice with Kreg Weiss generously opens the front of the body with emphasis on the heart center and hip flexors. With ample warmth, this flow also explores variations of splits.

I've noticed that since the switch over to Gaia, there have been a drastic reduction (to zero) of new Kreg videos. Setting whatever politics that may exist aside, I'd love to see some more Kreg.

Hi Nattiwack, big thanks for your support - always feel welcome to send your requests via email to the team as well ;) namaste, Kreg :)

I love hip opening practices. They make one feel supple yet strong. And help one to be as though one had all the time in the world. Very calming. Thank you Keg. Namaste ! ;-)

kregweiss, posted on March 4, 2015

thanks RubyDiamond. yes, we hold a lot of unnecessary energies in our hips. when these energies are mindfully dissipated, there is a powerful resonance left in the body and soul. namaste, Kreg

Note - I have no internet connection problems.
I started the video at 8:53. It's now 9:35 and I am only 25 minutes in. It is awesome class, in favorities, but I just can't practice like this.

Absolutely fantastic. A smooth class that will make you reach great lengths in terms of flexibility; especially frontal and side splits. I'll definitely come back to this one. Thanks a lot.

thanks @AnitaEM2 ... this was a fun practice to put together - many of us hold considerable tension and congestion in the front lines of the body - wonder to take time to dissolve this holding

AnitaEMc2, posted on February 1, 2014

Excellent practice. This is one I will return to again and again. Love Kreg 's deliberate style it gets me to places I normally don't think I would get to. Thank you.

Nice! I was a tad 'confused' on first starting. So hard to do and watch at the same time. But I soon settled in and oh what wonderful stretching. And lovely savasana. Thank you. Peace.

ALIVE! Oh that was so awesome. Vibrant, colorful, flowing of energy and light throughout my body and spirit.

While doing this practice I suddenly felt a wave of satisfaction through my body; I really enjoyed being in my body and and felt content with every movement. I'm 6 months pregnant and recovering from an ankle fracture, so I had to stick to the easier modifications and use some other variations as well to make the practice suit my situation. Still the energy and joy I felt during this 50 minutes and for the rest of the day was amazing. Thank you so much.

Lolotte, posted on April 28, 2013

I'm sad to say I couldn't manage to go through this practice. It requires more core strengh and flexibility than I currently have. Even with the modifications, I had to stop often to go into child's pose (which is still yoga, I know ;-)) otherwise I could feel the injury just waiting to happen.
I'll stick to easier practices by Kreg.

Awesome, some of it pretty chanllenging. Hmm, spelling slip there, did I mean, channelling or challenging. Perhaps both. Great energy from this class. Thank you.
