Slow Burn Hatha Yoga

This moderate Hatha class with Cameron Gilley is a slightly more challenging sequence of postures leading to a very relaxing Savasana. A balanced class, blending stretch and strengthening, a great slow build that will make you sweat while still eliciting a state of deep relaxation. When flowing with breath through movements like dancing dog, always work with the core engaged to support the lower back.

Note – Always be cautious of your lower back in forward bends.

A nice gentle flowing class which was perfect while I was feeling under the weather yet still wanted to get some yoga in. Thank you Cameron. Your technique motivates me to do yoga more often.

I really enjoyed this (as I recover from some low back and sacral strain). It's totally mellow - great for evening or if you're not feeling energetic (but you want to do something). I agree with others that this doesn't really align with other moderate-2 practices from the vantage point of activity-level or posture "difficulty". But you can definitely approach this with an intermediate mindset.

I wouldn't call it a slow burn - more of a gentle beginners hatha. But it was just what I needed on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Love Cameron's teaching and I felt great afterwards. Thank you!

This was a great practice after a week of Vinyasa yoga. Very smooth and easy flow. Not challenging at all unless you are a complete beginner. I love Cam's voice and always enjoy his yoga class. Thank you!

So relaxing but definitely not what I expected. I thought it was going to be challenging and sweat inducing but it was not at all and that's ok! I enjoyed it nonetheless. Thank you.

while this was indeed relaxing, a slow burn it was not. I think that this could be better described and labeled as a level 1 class. I was expecting to sweat and dig in to some poses. The most sweat provoking pose was pyramid. It was a nice class, but it just wasn't what I expected based on the description.

Extremely relaxing practice. Loved the variety of poses. It was so enjoyable that time went by too quickly! When I’ve been in a funk for a while and out of practice, I know that I can do one of Cameron’s classes to get back into the swing of things. Always such great instruction! Thank you!

Thanks for the video. I think there is an editing problem, however. At 21:10 you do a two-knee twist to the right but it is never repeated on the left. I know it's there and simply modify but wanted to make you aware.

Great class. Watch out for the first double-knee twist, only does the knees to the right. After several other poses he does both sides.
