truthfully, while i love the message, i am quite bothered by the stereotypical portrayal of a young black man as a thief. That is far too often the perception and while the message in this video is about choice, the reality that he started off as a thief still persists....thus perpetuating this horrific and false image.

Breaking & entering immediately creates almost choking suspense for me. So it was intense to begin with. As I watched him curiously going through her wallet, almost counting her change, I could feel the nuances in his change of heart. I LOVED it! I was thoroughly taken aback when it just ended. Done.

When my 90 year old father was in a nursing home I placed two photographs next to his bed for the staff. One was a photograph of him sitting in the cockpit of his B-24 bomber during WWII. In this photo, he about 22 years old and very handsome. The other picture was taken of him when he was about 30 years old, sitting in the cockpit of his home built plane. Before these photos were placed, I could see that some of the younger caregivers saw a useless old man. At least, that was my impression after observing them for some time. After the photos were placed, the young male caregivers were often found sitting at his bedside during their breaks asking him to tell them about his time during the war and about his plane. I think the young man in this short film came to the same realization when he saw the wedding photo of this person---the realization that this old woman asleep on the couch was once young like him with a future ahead of her and now, a history behind. Not only did the realization hit home that she had very little of her own, I believe the chance encounter with that wedding photograph changed his view of this old woman; it put his own mortality into perspective.

I hope in the midst of all our worst moments, we can become wise.

I can't believe Lt. Col. Gonzales is trying his hand at acting! This would've been better with a Corey Goode cameo, but the overall message was nice. Good kid. I'm probably the only person who watched this.

I watched this and it illustrates that regardless our intentions at times, we can all choose to turn our proverbial ship around and make new, more wholesome choices!!

Word. When I posted my original comment, it was the first one on the page. Somehow GMSORCERESSROSE worked some magic to get her comment in above mine. Strange how her comment was so similar to yours. It would appear conspiracies are abound at Gaia... lol.
