Deep, gentle stretches, very slow and easy pace. Soothing for the body. Nonstop talk during savasana, unfortunately, otherwise a very nice practice.

I believe this is the most suitable class I've found regarding stretching and calming before going to sleep.

I love Marla's classes. This one is good for any time, the deep stretch and relaxation is good for the end of the day or to start the day stretched and relaxed. Her calming and descriptive voice makes it excellent. Thank you.

I like the savasana. I have a high stress job and a mind that never stops and it helps me to stay grounded into the practice rather than working in my head, which happens way too often.

Hello Nullsmith, We try to reach many levels of practitioners with these videos. Also, when we record the voice part of the videos it's done so that it can be used in a few ways. Now that you know and understand the purpose of savasana, silence is ideal for exploring your own peace and state of mind. At that point in the practice, just turn the volume down or off.

This was a nice practice but I wish the instructor hadn't talked through the entire savasana. She kept talking about not being pulled away from the breath ... while pulling us away herself with all that talking.

I love this - I'm saving all of Marla's videos to my favorites. Her voice combined with her timing are perfect! She's also completely clear in her instructions, so there's no need to try to watch the screen when you're in a position that doesn't make that advisable.

Marla is one of my favorite instructors on this site. She's very calming -- in her voice, her instructions and the practice's pacing. I just discovered this routine recently since a longer practice became possible. This pracitce provides excellent developmental stretches and Marla never asks you to go too far -- just far enough to grow.

I loved this - Marla is a wonderful instructor, very soothing voice, great explanations of each pose, thus seamless in its flow. This is a very calming practice after a long day. I have been experiencing a lot of lower back and hip pain lately, and have just returned to work after vacation. This was a great practice to stretch out my joints and muscles, and breathe...
