Surya Shakti Morning Meditation Mantra and Prana Flow Namaskar

Available worldwide

In this meditation and flow workshop with Shiva Rea, experience a morning session connecting to embody the surya - the solar current - the sun within our own heart. We will integrate Tantric Inner Homa or fire offering, mantra and movement for synching with the fire center of our solar system and a natural source of energy for daily life.

Contraindications: Anyone suffering or recovering from injuries should be mindful when doing the vinyasa portion of the class and modify to make the sequence easier or more comfortable.

I really enjoyed this a lot. This is definitely more of a meditative session and is best for the morning (lots of sun meditation).

I had to stream via laptop bc this (along with many other gaia tv recordings) did not play on my roku. I'll click on a yoga session and it will kick me out of Gaia completely and not play.

This video , like so many others, stop, get stuck either both video and audio, or just video. Makes it impossible to finish a class. This page hasn't worked for me me since the switch to Gaiam TV. Please help !

I just tried to play this on my Roku, but I expected it to fail bc of your comment-the video did indeed fail. I have multiple problems running certain yoga sessions on my Roku through Gaia... I've had the problem for years... often times I end up having to use my laptop to do yoga sessions.

@louisenicole - I am so sorry for the inconvenience. Someone from our Customer Service dept. will be contacting you soon.

You really need to be in the right space for this one. Household distractions to a minimum.

The flow portion ends up going really fast. I did not got at the pace that she chanted because I needed to focus on my body position in order to avoid injury.

The meditation ended abruptly; which was unfortunate.

Sounded like an awesome music festival though.

Thanks @courtneyprior - I think you have the song right, but the artist is not Krishna Das. I've been searching around and I think it's preformed by Wade Imre Morissette. Thanks anyhow, I wouldn't have found it if you didn't tell me the name of the song!

courtneyprior, posted on March 28, 2013

Hi @ryanrca! Thank you for your comment! The song that is playing is Om Namaha Shivaya by Krishna Das.

What is the song played at about 49 minutes?

Inspired, inspiring. Has changed my practice. More liquidity and more intuitive rhythm for the win!

Oh I'm delighted to see a practice filled with chanting and with deep spiritual intent. Thank you! I can't wait to do this practice sometime in the next few days!

Yay! Thank you. It's so nice to see a new video on meditation. The topic never gets old -- it stays fresh, and one can always use more support & encouragement to meditate -- to go deeper.
...It's a breath a fresh air.

Although I enjoyed the practice and mediation I felt that this would have been a much more amazing experience in person than at home on my mat.
