Tantra Yoga Spanda Vinyasa and Asana Practice

Available worldwide

In this yoga class with Rod Stryker, you will be led through a sequence of asanas (with an emphasis on twists), pranayama, and meditation –– practices that awaken your connection to eternal creative energy and the inner pulsation of your spirit. Some theory gets us started.

According to Tantra, spanda is the ecstatic pulse of the unmanifest, the source of creative energy, the soul of the material world; it is also the yogis’ bridge to spirit.

Love how Rod can discuss yoga philosophy and create an awesome practice and reminding us of the theme of the practice throughout. He can take basic poses and make them very intense and powerful because of the pranayama that is practiced with each of the kriyas and sequences. . Thank you:)

Thanks Rod! This practice was exactly what I needed to reconnect in my home practice which has been getting lost in the daily craziness. Your guidance led me to a deeper place that my practice has been lacking lately. I will definitely use this to prepare for a deeper meditation. Namaste

Rod great practice. I can definitely still feel the pulsations.

Some portions of the practice were challenging, like the chaturanga vinyasa part, but Rod is so skilled at cueing the breath and the dynamics of the pose that you don't notice the intensity until afterwards. I love how you can feel the spanda inside your body even while holding the poses, but most certainly afterwards as well. I highly recommend this class, take it in its entirety and many times a month, to build your internal awareness of Spanda! Have a great day and Namaste~

Wow...even through movement and active teaching and listening, I found a place of non-judgement and observation. Thank you.

I only had 30 minutes this morning and I am so glad I spent it listening to Rod and doing this video. I CAN NOT WAIT to do this tomorrow in its full beauty. Rod, you are amazing.
