In her book, Tomorrow’s Children, Riane Eisler says that we have structured our society in a way that gives our children a misguided perspective on human nature. She believes we are giving them a very negative and distorted picture of human possibility.

Eisler discusses the need for a more complete, more balanced and more hopeful picture of our history, and she urges our schools to amend the structure, the environment and the lessons that they are teaching. A school of thought based on fascinating stories of human triumph and success paints a far more positive picture of humanity and human potential than lessons on war and domination.

I'm so excited to see Riane Eisler's interview! I've been following her since the 80's when I read "The Chalice and the Blade" and had to put down that book every 15 minutes to call my best friend, Shirley, to say "you wouldn't BELIEVE what I just read!" Her scholarship is exemplary, and her understanding of history informs her guidance for the future. Partnership instead of Domination mindset is a paradigm shift that can change individuals and our cultural future!
