Insights: Victoria Falls (2001)
Tucked away at the intersection of Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe, in Southern Central Africa, we explore the fabulous Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River is one of the main arteries of the African continent, providing a life force that begins in Zambia. The mystical rainforest on the edge of the falls is a unique swathe of dense tropical vegetation that thrives on the spray thrown up throughout the year from the falls. Without doubt, the Victoria Falls and surrounding area, is one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world.
The more popular area to experience the falls is on the Zimbabwean side. Apart from its spectacular natural beauty, Zimbabwe has been graciously entertaining tourists for many years. The process of choosing something to take back with you from your visit to Victoria Falls would probably start at one of the many open craft markets. Throughout the streets, live traditional music and dance resonates, which makes the process of wandering through the various markets and shops a special experience. Whatever you ultimately decide to take home with you - it’s the experiences of Africa that will remain with you forever.
