Landscape as Muse: White Pass with Jane Isakson (2005)
We join artist Jane Isakson as she ventures to the White Pass to do some sketching. Viewing some of her works she shares some of her history with us. She also explains her process of painting landscapes. From colors to textures, and even the techniques, every step of her creation process is revealed.
In a moment of reflection, she explains how she sees landscapes. The reflections of solid objects in the water complete the whole image. She philosophizes that maybe this concept is reflected in each of us. Finally we are invited into her studio to watch as she transforms her sketches into complete works of art.
