Thank you for the joyful serenity I received from this practice! Calming release, perfect for a morning go to, a nightly ease down, or an anytime transition! The instruction was soothing, the length was just right!

Such a lovely, healing practice--and now one of my favorites. Namaste, Melina!

This is going into my favorites, a beautiful, yin practice that takes you deep into yourself, massaging all areas of your being, allowing focus to drift to where it serves best. Holding poses brings the opportunity to let your mind and muscles to unravel.

I was looking for a grounding, calming practice and this was perfect for a tired Sunday afternoon in lieu of a nap. Thank you! I will certainly return to this practice.

I woke this morning with the phrase "you get to receive the secret code today"
and I went about my morning with eyes a bit more open, and then was drawn (without seeking anything, random choice of the "frontline" videos) to this practice, even though my brain said "I don't have 45 minutes to spare!" It was a powerful valuable experience, and integrating the eight limbs descriptions into the session flow was such a rich dessert on top of an already yummy practice. Timeless gratitudes for unfolding the code. Namaste.

Loved the idea of the poses opening up different ways to breathe. I found this to be very true while following this practice. Namaste, Melina!

This was only the second Yin class I have ever taken, and I loved how Melina wove in teachings of the 8 limbs. The poses were excellent hip openers, as the description said. I feel calm and centered after this practice. Namaste xx

Great inward-turning practice to complement some crazy weather outside. I added blocks, blankets, and heating pads for the ultimate warm, supportive experience. Love the sequence, hold times, and combo of gentle instruction/education with silence. Thank you Melinda! I'll be back!

A lovely practice to do at any time of the day. Melina Meza brings you into each posture with grace and reassurance with her calming voice. A wonderful class that opens the entire body up without a rigorous workout.

After this practice, I used my Azumio Instant Heart Rate iPhone App and my heart rate was 50bpm. Thats a really chill heart rate. I was feeling so good after this yin practice and I am so thankful that I chose Melina Meza's practice this morning. I actually went to one of her workshops in Yakima, WA a couple of years ago. She's pretty awesome.

reading other comments, just I feel like to say that yin yoga , is making warm but also cooling the body, I always do it, better warm upmyself clothes, it is not summer full ye so it is diferent. I see some re mentioning that missed flexibilty and feeling cold, so, this is the reason, you just do not make yin yoga like power or more 'fast vinyasa", just put t shirt with leaves and even socks, I did it, and another one over t shirt, and I felt very streched and not cold, my advice to other for yin yoga, or keeping by side more clotehs and take it on, and off by folowing your body needs.I feel always colderin yoga nidra, so, always by side I have other warm up. Thank you Melina.

The poses were very difficult for someone that isn't very flexible and not warm. I finished feeling like I didn't have any balance in the asanas. The knowledge you provided was worth the practice. Thank you.

This was really good. It was my TOM and I was not in the mood for anything too strenuous. I also loved educational aspect of this practice. Also liked that there was no shavasana. Yin is already meditative and shavasana after yin usually puts me to sleep.

I found that it was what I needed after a long and busy day and for the first time, I managed to focus on my breathing although some poses were quite challenging for me :)

Vasaart, posted on January 23, 2014

That was fantastic! There was a lot going on even though it felt so quiet. And although my video froze a couple of times that only added to the deepness of the poses and allowed me to really focus on my breath. I will do this again.
