Yoga Burn

Available worldwide

Taking it slow can deliver dramatic, immediate results - a sculpted physique and greater mental focus. Created and led by Rodney Yee, the innovative Slow Burn Yoga workout combines continual transition between essential yoga moves with resistance repetitions. The resulting burn shapes lean muscle and challenges your mind more than other slow yoga programs, expanding your limits in both your practice and your life.

I thoroughly enjoyed the mindfulness of this practice and really loved Rodney's instruction which was easy to follow and also taught me some new ways to approach and get the most out of poses. As someone relatively new to yoga I found some of it quite challenging (and I'm sure I'm going to ache tomorrow), however it was all achievable and because of the slow nature of the practice I had plenty of time to adjust my poses to make sure I was getting it right. I will definitely keep coming back to this one. Thanks Rodney!

I've made the resolution of switching from 10 minutes of yoga a day to 60, and this video is the backbone. I will alternate with a core Rodney Yee session every now and then.

Always just the right amount of strength and grounding. Namaste

The first video I ever bought was Rodney's beginner series. Rodney the true master. Loved this class.

So glad to have both of my favorite yoga instructors here at gaiam. Such a great alternative to do yoga at home when I cannot go to the studio. Thank you.

@Jazelyoga - Ditto! Same here :)

Rodney I loved the class, it would have helped me if the word slowly was not used so frequently. I knew it was a slow class and I loved it, but found myself being triggered by every time the word slowly was used. Great for reminders, but all the time was just too much for me. I turned off the volume and practiced without benefit of sound. For me, I like to count by breaths, 3 breaths into a pose, 5 breaths holding a pose. That works to slow me down and get in touch with the subtle micro movements I can take in each pose.

Before I knew it the 1 hour was over! I am not usually a 'flow' fan but loved this practice, which has inspired me to incorporate some of these elements in my teaching. Thank you!

Wow. Strength and suppleness for slow speed is a wonderful way to ease the body and reset the mind. Thanks Rodney

I loved to know you, Rodney!

Whoa. That was my first Rodney Yee video. Slow does not mean easy, if you are a beginner. I couldn't be happier with this video. It was worth subscribing, just to get to experience his approach. yAy!

I just wanted to add my praise to for this practice. It was excellent--the flow was amazing and really allows you to sink into the movements. You don't even notice the time passing and I felt amazing after finishing it. Truly one of the best that I've ever done.

This is a great way to feel centered and burn some energy. Great flow of the exercises.

JyotiB, posted on June 3, 2014

Very nice,,,,really felt the BURN, love the pace of the class and smooth transitions from one pose to another,,,,the 3 repetitions really help get into the pose, making the third one deep and grounded. Thanks for sharing.

One of the most relaxing and fulfilling yoga videos I have done for a while. Yee is the absolute master and always keeps it interesting!

I started Yoga 6 months ago with the Gaiam beginners kit DVD I am now a complete addict to Rodney Yee's videos. This is one is my favourite so far! It is really meditative which is exactly what I look for in my practise and not too many balance poses for a beginner like me. Thank you once again Rodney!

Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed every one of his videos. I always feel calm and rejuvenated, even if the video is challenging.

I have arthritis, it effects my knees. Slow Burn Yoga gives me much more mobility. I'm very grateful. Although I've practiced yoga for over 20 yrs I've gotten away from it. Rodney has a very calming influence. I'm going to try very hard to do it everyday.

Thank you,

Rose McElaney

Love this :D way easier to move deeper when you leave the time to catch up or ride along the same pace.

Very nice I am going to enjoy this by putting it in my weekly schedule. thank you :)

Enjoy the subtle energy that this strengthening, challenging, satisfying & calming flow manifests in YOUR body. I look forward to integrating this continuous, mindful, meditative sequence into my personal practice.

So calming, so relaxing and so very challenging! Those downward dog positions are a killer! My shoulders look amazing though and he has definitely had his hand in it. I love doing this routine (though I can't get through it all) as much as possible. I often become so at peace while doing his routines I nearly fall asleep or moan which is totally awkward (but enjoyable for me)….ha ha! Thank goodness this is in my home and not in a gym! Definitely recommend this routine for medium to advanced…

ohfayesstuff, posted on October 27, 2013

if you are looking for a good toning workout with the meditative benefit's of yoga try this one! probably my most favorite Rodney Yee video yet. not exactly for beginners as he offers little instruction into the pose - this workout made me feel strong and very calm. try it - you will LOVE it!

Monique.kotterer, posted on October 2, 2013

I really enjoyed this complete workout. This is my sixth week of daily yoga and I really enjoyed noticing how much stronger I have become! This longer workout was like a treat to me; )

nokneed, posted on September 16, 2013

However, this did have some nice strengthening routines. And at the end, my back was completely elongated and pain free, just not as much as the back care series. All in all, It can give you what you want, depending on what you need.

fode_mos, posted on August 9, 2013

Tried it yesterday and it had me sweating, I like how Rodney slowly moves through each pose. Makes it easier for a beginner (like me) to follow a long and learn the poses.

writemamawrite, posted on June 26, 2013

wonderful practice. just like being in class.

akolund, posted on June 22, 2013

Great for when you don't feel like moving quickly but still want something challenging with some core strength and forward bends thrown into the mix.

peihui9, posted on May 29, 2013

I am a beginner and this was simple enough but challenging to really feel it. I was sweating like mad at the beginning and by the end felt stronger, stretched out and relaxed. Absolutely wonderful. I will definitely do his often.

Soothing voice and easy to follow instruction by Rodney Yee.

lettucia, posted on May 10, 2013

Between Rodney's calming voice and clear, mellow instructions, the simple setting, the beautiful music and the smooth flow of the poses, it's got to be one of the best. The hour flew by.

carmenaspillaga, posted on April 16, 2013

beatufil practice, slow but feels great on your body and mind, the relaxation at the end is a meditation in itself, one of the best videos

Liza, posted on February 6, 2013

Just watching Rodney Yee move through this workout is a visual gift to the soul. I hope one day to acquire such power and grace! In the meantime, I will wobble and grunt my way through this workout, enjoying the physical and emotional benefits, until I get it going smoothly and strongly. Thank you!

This video is SO awesome-- especially after a hard day's work or a long day of sitting at the desk. I've always enjoyed Rodney's videos, but this one is, in my opinion, one of his best!
