Hi David,

You are quickly becoming my favorite teacher on Gaiam tv. However; in the class description it reads "Click to read the full description of the PranaVayu method and how to follow the complete 3 week cycle for optimal benefits." yet there is nothing to click. Where might I find this information?

Thank you so much! That's really wonderful to hear.

This video was part of a series that I filmed for My Yoga Online a number of years ago. The specific directions for the three week challenge are no longer available, but you can find more information on our practice at

Thanks for watching!

David, I found Shazam as suggested. I totally love it. There's a vast variety of yoga tunes ,and it's pretty awesome. I downloaded it onto my Kindle Fire. Many thanks. ~~Amy

Thanks for jumping on board Fatari! Combining those two classes for variety is a great idea. Both of the sequences move the spine through all six ranges of motion in slightly different ways so they're ideal compliments to one another.

I'm so glad that you're experiencing some changes! Let me know how the process unfolds.

I am seeing subtle changes in areas of my practice that I'd let slip using your series of practices. I combine this class with your 3 week toning class, M, W and F.
I have not been accountable to my yoga practice when busy but when the 3 week class showed up in the newsletter, I jumped at the chance to follow along.
Thank you so very much for this opportunity to get back what I'd forgotten I'd found through regular practice.

great practice, enjoyed immensely

Hi Scott,

I'm not sure which one you're talking about. Is it Astavakrasana?

davidmagone, posted on May 14, 2012

Thanks Amy!

I'm not sure about the name of the album. MYO always adds music in the post-production process. Have you tried Shazam?

AmyOBarYoga, posted on April 26, 2012

I get so much out of these beautiful practices. Thank you David. You do great creating a peaceful atmosphere of growth. I'm wondering what the name of the album is that is in this video? ~~ Amy

yogitroppy, posted on April 8, 2012

Another quick question - What is the name of the song is playing at the end of class. Shazam is not working for me on this one - thanks.

yogitroppy, posted on April 8, 2012

What is the Sanskrit name of the last pose with ankles crossed lift seat off of ground? Great class!

davidmagone, posted on February 16, 2012

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that you've been resonating with the meditative practices. Isn't it cool to do some yoga for the mind as well?

Have a happy practice!

With this practice I've just finished my first week of David's 3 week series... what a lovely journey so far! Looking forward to the next few weeks and continuing to feel more open and connected. Adding the breathing and meditative techniques to my regular asana practice has been the highlight! Thank you and Salama (peace!) David

I have been practicing yoga for 6 years and have been a member of MYO for 3, and this practice is hands down one of the most gentle, powerful and cleansing I have ever done. David, you are an incredible yogi and I look forward to all of your classes! Thank you!

day two on my 3 week challenge! Love this series of programs, very calming but still challenging. I was really feeling the bendy back session on my back and sides today.. curious to see what sensations today's practice will leave with me.

davidmagone, posted on November 30, 2011

Congrats on completing the challenge! Now, the most important part is what comes next. Go out there and spread some of that love and peace you experienced with one random act of kindness per day. Practice this as much as you can without any expectation of return and I think that you'll see all of the positive effects of your practices becoming even more established within you.

Here's to doing out part to make the world a happier place!

AmyOBarYoga, posted on November 30, 2011

So today is my last practice in this three week accelerated program. In my practice, I have always found that quieting my mind and body during the final mediation, or corpse pose, to be a challenge. Today, I felt like I was floating. I felt so much love and peace. In a way, it was very intense. ~~peace to all~~

davidmagone, posted on November 11, 2011

Nice work! The split feels totally surreal doesn't it?

AmyOBarYoga, posted on November 9, 2011

David Magone, you are the magic man. Your practice is amazing. You actually guided me right into the splits, today. That is a first for me. I feel so peaceful now. Much peace.

Had a lot of problems with hip ligaments as have been trying to correct my "slope back" posture. This has really helped! Also realised how much easier it is for me to reach my foot between my hands from downward dog - must be working.

Yogalice, posted on September 23, 2011

thanks David - I'll look for more info. on your workshops and trainings. I woudl love to study with you and learn more about your alignment system. I'm about 30 days into doing your videos almost every day and seeing how it works. I've expereinced some real openings in my practice. Thank you.

davidmagone, posted on September 9, 2011

An architect and a yogi! That's an awesome combo.

Most of our workshops will be taking place next year. We have a number of great weekend and weeklong training programs coming up then. We're right in the middle of reconfiguring our website, but I hope to have the dates up within the next few weeks. I hope that you can join us!

Yogalice, posted on September 9, 2011

David, I love the way you get us into ardha chandrasana in this practice and low rider eagle. Second week of your practices and loving them more and more with each practice. Alignmnet cues are awesome - I am an architect turned yoga teacher. I love that you have several practices and I too would like one with a front view of the class. Thanks . Any upcoming workshops on the East Coast?
