The Flower of Life in Sacred Geometry

For as long as I can remember I have been drawing geometric patterns of intersecting circles. As a child I would choose a small round item to trace and fill a page with circles that intersected one another and then color all of the intersections with colored pencils or markers. I did this in school when I was bored in class. I did it at home when I needed to think, I frequently thought through and and answered questions that were troubling me this way.

I now do it to represent the chakras and other patterns of energy I see in people’s energy bodies. I did not grow up with an understanding of Sacred Geometry, I just knew that those circles made me feel connected to something. They brought me peace and calmed me when I felt anxious.

Sacred Geometry: The Basics

Sacred Geometry is a language of geometric patterns that spans all cultures, timelines and species on this planet and beyond. It is the foundation of everything in existence when broken down to the smallest parts. It is a massive subject that covers the very foundation of our evolution, our planet, solar system and the growth of the universe as well as our connection to each other and beings from other planets. It is a subject that I am passionate about and will spend the rest of my life working to fully understand.

The 5 platonic solids are Tetrahedron, Cube, Octahedron, Dodecahedron and Icosahedron.

These 5 shapes are a part of the foundation of all living matter. We see this in the cell division at the conception of every living thing on the planet.

Secret of the Flower of Life

The Flower of Life Holds Ancient Secrets

The Flower of Life is a figure in sacred geometry that is made up of overlapping circles in six-fold symmetry, it looks like a hexagon made of circles. The 5 platonic solids are all found within The Flower of Life as is Metatron’s Cube, The Seed of Life and The Tree of Life to name a few. It is the physical representation of the connections that we feel to all living things. It is a sacred symbol found in nearly every culture on the planet and is believed to represent the cycle of growth of a fruit tree from the seed to fruit-bearing tree. According to The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, Vol. 1 by Drunvalo Melchezidek, many cultures believe The Flower of Life holds ancient secrets.

I first became familiar with The Flower of Life at a Metaphysical trade show. My family and I own a Metaphysical store and at a trade show, we came across a merchant selling crystal grid supplies that I was very attracted to. I am a Master Crystologist and have been making grids and lay-outs of my own design for many years. They were offering small grid boards with The Flower of Life on them in different colors, meant to represent the chakras.

The pattern of intersecting circles felt very familiar to me and we purchased the supplies for our store. I took a board of each color home to use in my own practice with crystal grids. I began choosing stones to lay-out in specific patterns within The Flower of Life. I was stunned at how powerful these grids felt. Holding my hands over them to connect with the energy was, and still is, some of the strongest energy I have ever felt. I knew there was something bigger at work here. The energy of the crystals and The Flower of Life have brought forth a tremendous amount of healing in my life over the past few years.

Connection to Creativity

I have always been deeply connected to other living things and the Earth. I am a Kinetic Empath, I feel the energies around me inside my body. I use this gift to read other people’s energy bodies and heal them when needed. I see figures of Sacred Geometry in the energy bodies of people and animals. I frequently see The Flower of Life in the Sacral Chakra of humans. In my mind I see it as a Chrysanthemum, a flower that has many overlapping petals, it is a physical representation of The Flower of Life. When I see this in the Sacral Chakra of someone I know that they are connected to their own divine creativity, they use their connection to the divine to create what they want in their life.

Connection to the Sacred Heart

Another place I see The Flower of Life in the energy body is in the sacred heart space. Drunvalo Melchezidek talks about this space in the heart that connects us to the divine, to our higher selves, to all of the information that we are seeking. He says that everything we need is found in this space. I have found this to be true in my own life. I consciously access my sacred heart space for healing, understanding, and connection to my divine self. In that space, all of my questions are answered. When I connect with my sacred heart I feel a very brief but sharp pain in my chest. This is how I know I have entered my sacred heart.

In my mind’s eye I see an image of The Flower of Life surrounded by golden light. I can expand that image out from myself to heal a person or situation.

I can sit in the presence of The Flower of Life and seek answers to my questions, and the answers come clearly. I feel a strong connection to the divine and my true self in this space.

Connection to the Universe and Beyond

There are many things written about The Flower of Life, it’s geometry and the possible implications of our connection to beings from other planets and the development of our Universe. It is all-powerful and interesting information but I feel the need to simplify it, bring it down to a level I can understand.

As I see it, The Flower of Life is a physical representation of the sacred, the divine, in each of us. We are not separate from the divine, it resides in every cell of our bodies.

We are the divine, and together we make a web of divine life on this planet and beyond that is infinite and unbreakable.

Flower of Life Heart Meditation

Try this meditation to assist you in connecting with The Flower of Life in your sacred heart.

  • Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Allow your body to settle and your mind to go quiet
  • Bring your attention to your heart, just to the left of your sternum. Move your attention slightly up and to the left of your heart, here is your sacred heart chamber. Allow your consciousness to fill up your Sacred Heart, feeling this place of divine silence and light. Take a few moments to feel your own divine essence, all of you is here, not just the small part that lives in your mind and ego
  • In your mind’s eye witness The Flower of Life in this space, floating before you in golden light. Take a moment to absorb the divine wisdom contained in this sacred figure
  • Send anything that needs healed into The Flower of Life and ask that it will be healed and that you will be divinely guided in this area of your life. Allow The Flower of Life to expand out from your sacred heart space, surrounding you and then moving out from there to surround your home, community and then the planet
  • Watch as The Flower of Life connects up all of the energies on the planet, building a massive grid of light, raising the vibration of the planet and healing broken connections
  • Draw The Flower of Life back into your sacred heart space and spend a few moments there in peace, communing with the divine in you, reconnecting with who you really are, beyond this body beyond this lifetime
  • When you are ready, take 3 deep breaths and open your eyes

Many of us spend too much time and energy seeking that connection outside of ourselves: Use the Sacred Heart meditation to reconnect with yourself whenever you feel the divine lacking in your life.

The Flower of Life is a representation of the divine that exists inside of you. It connects us all individually into a giant web of life, light, and energy. As a single cell inside your mother’s womb, you began to divide, moving through many of the forms in sacred geometry until you developed into a fully functioning human. You still carry those divine forms in every cell of your body. You are a miracle! You were born from the divine, it can never leave you. Never forget that you are the divine in physical form.
