Megan Campbell

Since her first time on the mat eight years ago, Megan has graduated from two separate 200-hour teacher trainings, one in Ottawa and the other in India, and has also completed an 800-hour Yoga Philosophy course with Georg Feuerstein.  She has been teaching for eight years within and around Ottawa with a constant focus on Yoga specifically for women. Megan is also committed to using the power of Yoga to inspire social consciousness and sustainable activism. She does this through her soul-based business, Journey of the Yogini (JOY) ~ Yoga retreats, events, and trips that serve to unite women and raise awareness and funds for charities that empower women and girls around the world. JOY was a Best New Business Winner from the Chamber of Commerce in 2012, and the community has raised over $167,000 for charity since its inception in 2011. Megan has been named one of CTV’s ‘Amazing People’, voted Ottawa's favorite yoga instructor 2012 (National Capital Fit Day), was named an ‘Agent of Peace’ (Nipissing University), and is the Host of TV’s ‘Yoga for Women’ daily on Rogers TV.
