Zoey Lapinsky

I started my yoga journey in 2000, back when I was a dancer. At the time it was just another type of training for me. And it was a very on and off practice. In 2005 I started my daily practice of yoga and it was them that I discovered its transformative powers. If you have no idea what I’m talking about then let me tell you a little more about it. Yoga combines strength, flexibility and breath. It gives you what you need. When I first started it I was already quite strong and flexible but what kept me coming back was that it kept me sane. Now it is my predominant form of exercise and it is a whole body and mind workout, giving me strength, flexibility, sanity, clarity and purpose – a seriously winning combo. I teach many styles of yoga including Forrest, Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini and Bikram. What I love about yoga is the way it combines physical strength, mental endurance and emotional release. I am also a Demartini facilitator, which means real life problem solving. I help people move from a place of unrest and growliness about their lives to a place of poise, centeredness and grace. I specialise in divorce, disease and death. Website: www.zoey.co.za
