This well-aligned and dynamic vinyasa class and tutorial taught by Shannon Paige, is based on the wisdom of strength and container-ship in asana form and transition before any application of momentum. This practice is geared towards advancing a specific skill set, the “float forward” and “hop back” transitions of vinyasa yoga. By learning to leverage the core and container as primary foci as we add momentum in small doses and learn the transitions from simple to complex. The benefits, beyond a strengthening of the core, is a confidence to actually “try” the transition. The result of the method we lovingly call “flight school” is an increase in confidence and personal ability on and off the mat.
