Bringing Mars to Life with Robert Zubrin

What will it take to start a new space race which will bring humans to Mars? Many countries around the world are pushing to be the first to colonize our neighboring planet. But will it be a private company that beats any government organization? Robert Zubrin examines various concepts needed for a successful mission to Mars and highlights many of the problems with NASA’s plans. Despite the struggle to find our footing as we step out into space, he is confident that one day we will not just bring life to mars, but we will bring mars to life.

Dr. Robert Zubrin is the founder and President of the Mars Society, as well as a member of the organization's Board of Directors. Formerly a Staff Engineer at Lockheed Martin Astronautics in Denver, he holds a Masters degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Washington. He has authored over 100 published technical and non-technical papers in the field, as well as written several books.
