A year and a half later, a window to challenge the planning inspector’s decision is coming to a close. If no challenge is brought the High Court, then the way is clear to begin developing the windfarm. Understandably, Rachel Ruffle is apprehensive of such a notion and anxious to begin construction.
At the 11th hour, Mike Hulme, the local resident who was initially friendly, brings forth the challenge. He brings evidence of disturbing noise levels, as well as a story from a family who has moved out of their home claiming they can’t sleep due to turbine noise. When the result of his challenge comes, there’s a major surprise but the story of this development is far from over.
