A group of young artists visited a nursing home and painted the portraits of residents whose names they had drawn from a hat. Meanwhile, the filmmaker went around and asked the residents about life, love and art.
Three weeks later, there was a group art show at the home, displaying the finished portraits. In this touching and sometimes funny documentary, we see a generational bridge crossed by two unlikely groups. Both the residents and the artists have an experience that was perhaps more than they had bargained for.
