The First Unitarian Congregation Meditation Garden in Ottawa provides a perfect place for mediation, relaxation, and commemoration. What started out as a simple idea for a pond, grew. Over the years, the joy from the pond expanded into a lush rich garden. Diversity is an important part of the garden and to the Unitarian tradition. Every year, different species of plants are introduced into the garden. This is done to bring as much life into the garden as possible so as to create about a deeper sense of the sacred. Take a walk through the garden and discover all the nook and crannies to discover all of the little things hidden away, and learn of the diversity this garden holds.
