Dennis J. Evans is an artist from Regina. We join him as he is on his way to visit his straw-bale observatory in the Flying Creek Valley. This is his third summer that he has been constructing a straw-bale structure as an observatory for light. As he works on the construction, he reflects upon pivotal moments from his past that shaped the artist he is today.
Most of his work is based on the phenomenology of light and how it is constantly changing. Inside his observatory, he begins to take photographs of the various views of the landscapes as well as the light inside the structure.
