About twenty percent of the food produced in Australia ends up in a landfill. Instead of disposing of thousands of tons of surplus food, Foodbank collects and distributes it to where it’s most needed. This is a bank where goodwill is paying big dividends – 16 million kilograms of food, or 20 million meals, were distributed last year, helping to feed 50,000 people each day.
