Get Smarter with Dan Hurley

When you sharpen your brain, you sharpen every aspect of your life. Many of us assume that intelligence is something that we are born with and that the IQ score is the limit of our mental capacity. Dan Hurley has investigated many different ways of improving brain power and has found that reality does not always follow our preconceptions. Every minute of every day, we are training our brain and we have always had the capability to get smarter as discussed in this interview with George Noory.

Award-winning science journalist, Dan Hurley has written on the science of increasing intelligence for the Washington Post and Neurology Today. He is author of, Smarter and was featured in the 2013 PBS documentary feature, Smarter Brains. His previous book, Diabetes Rising, was excerpted in Discover and Wired. He has written nearly two dozen articles for the New York Times since 2005.
