Healing Autism with Horses with Rupert Isaacson

Rupert Isaacson’s incredible journey to learn how to heal autism with horses began with a chance encounter as his son, who was diagnosed with autism, suddenly connected with neighbor’s horse. What unfolded from this fateful moment led his family to visit shamanic healers all over the world. Success with his son motivated him to develop treatment programs which now helps other autistic children retrain their brains. Hear his journey in this interview with Regina Meredith.

Rupert Isaacson, author of The Horse Boy has travelled extensively in Africa, Asia, and North America and his journalism and travel writing has appeared in many popular publications. In addition to being an ex-professional horse trainer, Rupert is founding director of the Indigenous Land Rights Fund, a non-profit organization that helps threatened and displaced indigenous tribes obtain tenure of their ancestral land.
