Working fast and furious, Venice California based artist, John Baldessari prepares for two big shows. John has been asked to do a show in Belgium, culling together his best works from the past five years. Watch as he explains the proper placement of paintings and the premise of the works, matching an image with words. Then, it is off to New York where John uses fragments of the body, such as noses and ears, as subjects. Rich with meaning, though they may initially look simple, his technique allows the viewer to know color across multiple planes.
