Lin, 54, is blind and has cerebral palsy. Her husband, Ralph, 70, is her full-time 24/7 care-giver – and he has Parkinson’s disease. The two are living proof that two people who really care for each other can move mountains. Filmed over the course of 17 years by Marilyn Gaunt, a close friend and an award-winning documentary maker, Lin and Ralph is an intimate portrait of a marriage that has overcome incredible odds and achieved great things. But at the time of the film, recent events cast shadows and put what seemed to be an indestructible love under almost unbearable pressure.
