Objects floating on the ocean (be they a piece of paper or a stick of wood) can attract thousands of fish. This phenomenon is known as fish concentration.

Scientists and fishermen have used this phenomenon to concentrate marine resources, using fish aggregation devices (FADs). Scientists are also studying the impact of FADs on fish migration.

Are fish loyal to a familiar FAD?
