In the frozen world of northern Norway a very unique police force has been created. It is a very different world for the Reindeer Police as there are no physical conflicts and almost no arrests. Yet, their days are busy with long distance travel, investigation of dead animals, and negotiating resolutions with herders. For many generations, the Saami people, indigenous to the north, have legal claim on the pasture lands of the northern regions. They raise and herd their reindeer using traditional means, rarely relying on the intervention of outsiders. Take a glimpse into a world very few people tread and gain an understanding of a completely different kind of life.
