In Senegal, a number of international organizations have decided to help small and medium size businesses. We follow along with Oumou Touré who monitors the progress of businesses who have received loans to improve their business. She visits a local clothing designer who is upgrading her business and a plastics manufacturer.
Then, it is on to Tunisia where banking sector lacks long-term resources and they appeal to various international organizations. One such benefactor is the Hannibal clinic specializing in cancer treatment.
Finally, we visit Laos, where the Laotian government has decided to help coffee producers, and has called on the French Development Agency and the CIRAD agronomy research centre to help in creating a high-quality coffee production system.
