The Round Garden for the Blind was founded, in 1974, by two school teachers that were looking for a project to benefit the community and fill their leisure time. Over the years the garden has matured into a unique part of the Perth community. Each year, unique changes come to the garden as different varieties of flowers bloom and cycle. The caretakers aspire to provide the community with at least two sensory experiences to anyone who comes to enjoy the garden. To demonstrate this, Grahame is given a personal touch and taste tour of the various flowers, herbs and vegetables the garden is displaying this year. Come and explore the diversity and benefits the Round Garden for the Blind has to offer.
